Ingredients
Scale
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (0.7 oz) packet Italian dressing mix
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 (10.75 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup white wine
- Angel hair pasta, cooked as directed
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker.
- In a saucepan, heat the Italian dressing mix, cream cheese, butter, cream of chicken soup, and white wine over medium-high heat. Stir occasionally until the cream cheese melts and the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker, then cover.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- Serve the chicken and sauce over the cooked angel hair pasta. Enjoy!
Notes
- Salt Check: Be careful with extra salt because the Italian dressing mix and cream of chicken soup already have some!
- Quality Ingredients: Using fresh, good-quality chicken and other ingredients will make the dish taste its best.
- Add Veggies: Toss in some veggies like broccoli, carrots, or peas in the last 30 minutes for extra goodness and color!
- Creamy Option: For a richer, more natural flavor, try using heavy cream or milk with a little cornstarch instead of cream of chicken soup. Enjoy!
