Homemade Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs

  • Total Time: 33 minutes
  • Yield: 8 cheeseburger bombs 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese cubes)
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits or homemade roll dough
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and chopped onions. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and the onions are tender. Drain any extra grease. Stir in the salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  2. Assemble the Bombs: Flatten each biscuit or dough ball into a circle with your hands or a rolling pin. Spoon about a tablespoon of the beef mixture into the center of each circle, then top with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese (or tuck a cheese cube in the middle). Carefully fold the dough around the filling, pinching the seams well to seal.
  3. Bake ‘Til Golden: Place the dough balls seam-side down onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the garlic powder. Brush the tops of each bomb with the garlic butter, then sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 minutes, or until beautifully golden brown.
  5. Serve It Up: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot. They’re amazing on their own or even better with sides of ketchup, burger sauce, or a creamy garlic aioli for dipping!
